Decentralized Recovery Alliance DeRec announces Ripple Swirlds Labs, XRPL and XRPL are the latest members to join as founding partners of the Alliance. Algorand Foundation. They will have a seat for two years on the Technical Oversight Committee to give input on Governance Policies and Core Alliance.
Projects including “Acoer, BankSocial, Blade Labs, The Building Blocks, Casper Association, Constellation Network, The Hashgraph Association, The HBAR Foundation, and Revive Labs” According to reports, they have joined the Alliance. The mandate is to give meaningful input on policies, and they will provide oversight.

DeRec is basically an open-source software.source A secret protocol for managing secrets is used to spread a little bit of knowledge amongst a group of people called “helpers”. Helpers keep a little bit of each secret to help the original user recover it when required. The secret information held by the helpers is not enough to hack or retrieve an account.
To put it another way, information becomes valuable only when at least half or more of users reveal a little bit of the secrets they have. A mechanism was put into place that allows secrets to be exchanged when they are changed.
John Woods CTO at the Algorand Foundation, believes the new additions will allow them to achieve the critical mass needed to have a positive impact on the industry.
