US Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler The Spot Ethereum ETF application process has been described as smooth. In fact, the chair of the agency discussed when the investment products that were approved in late may could be launched.
It is working on S-1 forms with the issuers. These must be approved prior to trading. Experts have forecast that the second crypto ETF will be launched in July.

Gensler: ETH-ETF Approval Process Going Smoothly

Gensler, who spoke at the Bloomberg Summit in New York City, didn’t hesitate to share his critiques on the digital asset markets. Gensler stated that many exchange-traded product rails are non-compliant. He also referred to many cryptos as securities and said that most Americans don’t get all the disclosures.
Spot Ethereum ETFs hope to replicate the success of its Bitcoin ETF counterpart earlier this year. The asset’s price reached $73,000 just three months after BTC was launched.
