Cardano Foundation and Petrobras have forged an innovative collaboration in order to encourage blockchain literacy within Brazil’s Energy Sector. The goal? The goal is to provide over 40,000 Petrobras staff with a thorough understanding of Blockchain technology through interactive workshops and engaging courses.
Petrobras University is delivering the targeted content through the Cardano Academy. This announcement was released in a press statement on December 20, 2017. These workshops will allow participants to explore the possibilities of blockchain technology, as well as its diverse applications. Participants can also take part in interactive quizzes and learn more about this revolutionary technology.
Successful completion of these blockchain courses will result in more than a certificate. The first 500 Petrobras students who enroll in the Cardano Academy receive a unique, non-fungible (NFT) token as a symbol of their commitment and progression. This NFT, which was created in collaboration with the Petrobras Education Board and evolves dynamically to reflect and celebrate participants’ progress throughout their training journey, has been crafted collaboratively.
Frederik Gregaard highlighted the crucial role education plays in empowerment. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to foster blockchain literacy across various sectors, empowering individuals as well as large enterprises.
This strategic initiative follows the recent Cardano Academy launch on December 14 introducing the Certified Cardano Blockchain Associate course (CBCA). The academy’s gamified teaching approach and comprehensive educational materials are designed to help participants quickly become immersed in blockchain technology.
The Cardano Foundation, in addition to education, has unveiled a set of tools including Identity Wallets and Ledger Syncs, aimed at enhancing development within the Cardano network. These tools cater not only to the needs of developers but also aim to promote seamless integration of Cardano with social and financial purposes.
The Identity Wallet as well as the Ledger Sync are both fully open sourceWe encourage community participation, feedback and contributions. Java is used to demonstrate the Foundation’s commitment in supporting enterprise developers. Java is widely used among businesses. Ledger Sync, the Identity Wallet and other features have been developed specifically in Java for ease of use and to make adoption easier.
