Bitcoin Magazine announces that Aaron van Wirdum, veteran journalist and author Aaron van Wirdum was named editor in chief. He previously held this position from 2021-2022.
This appointment comes after his 2020 sabbatical, during which he wrote “The Genesis Book: The Story of the People and Projects That Inspired Bitcoin“, published by Bitcoin Magazine Books 2024.
Since 2013, van Wirdum is known for his reporting on Bitcoin privacy issues, scaling, Core releases and much more. This experience brings an abundance of expertise and knowledge to Bitcoin Magazine. Van Wirdum, a pioneer in this space, is regarded as the leading technical journalist.
