RFK Jr., announced on Friday that he would suspend his campaign for president and remove himself from the ballots in states considered battlegrounds. The bitcoin candidate hopes to tip the balance of power in favor of former president Donald Trump.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed that Trump has asked him to “enlist” The offer came after weeks of exchanges between the two men. Trump and RFK Jr recently met together in Florida.
“In a series of long, intense discussions, I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues,” Kennedy told a Phoenix-area press conference Friday. “In those meetings, he suggested that we join forces as a unity party.” Kennedy has not specified what role he could play in a possible Trump administration.

RFK Jr. described the decision he made, adding, “I want everyone to know I am not terminating my campaign. I am simply suspending it and not ending it. My name will remain on the ballot in most states. If you live in a blue state, you can vote for me, without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris. In red states, the same will apply.”
RFK Jr. is 100% against CBDCs and supports cryptocurrency, particularly bitcoin. Republican nominee Trump shared the same sentiments and both are expected to promote Bitcoin during the rest of Trump’s election campaign.
Bitcoin’s price rose shortly after RFK Jr. announced his announcement. The asset was trading at $64 307 71 as of press time. Today, it is up by 6%. Over the past seven days, its value has increased by 9%.
