Robinhood is a cryptocurrency exchange that has been around since announced It has announced that it is acquiring Bitstamp, a fellow cryptocurrency exchange in a cash transaction worth $200 million. This has led online speculation as to whether Ripple’s XRP would finally be integrated into Robinhood.
This acquisition will bring Bitstamp operations under Robinhood. The deal is also expected to close in 2025’s first half. Bitstamp has clients in Asia, United States, United Kingdom and European Union.

Robinhood, one of the largest crypto exchanges on the planet. Platform has approximately 23.9 million customers who have funds and 13.7 millions monthly active users. If the exchange includes XRP in its trading, it could lead to a dramatic increase in the adoption of the asset and therefore the price.
The ongoing Ripple lawsuit against the SEC may hinder XRP’s growth. Robinhood might not list tokens until after the case is resolved.
