The Ethereum Foundation announces a collaborative grant with Aztec and Polygon to develop Zero Knowledge Public Goods projects. Each co-funder contributed 150K USD, bringing the total amount of funds to 900K.
The complexity and size of the Layer 2-ecosystem has grown to the point that identifying common needs and dependencies now requires domain experts from multiple stakeholders. The co-funders, will therefore not only provide funding, but they will also participate in the decision making.
We hope that this approach will lead to more funding and better-informed decisions, but also increase modularity and the use of standardised code in the ZK L2 Ecosystem. This round, the research teams worked together on a collaborative wishlist Guide for inspiration on projects
Applications The deadline for submissions is Monday, 18th March 2024.
